Being able to bring together our wide range of talents from all four of our branches around the world is one of the things we’re most proud of at Draga.
That includes putting international members of the 3D Render team in the same room, and helping them talk in person to clients to get even better feedback on how this helps drive better asset information management.
Collaboration at a global level
At the beginning of September, some of our Thai team travelled to Stravanger, Norway to meet clients and collaborate with our team in person, including Teerasak Pruktayanont (Tee).
For Tee, who works from Thailand with our Render Office in Norway, this was a chance to do his usual work – but with a lot more hands-on collaboration. Tee sat side-by-side with our Norway team to create a helicopter controller blueprint with Unreal Engine.

This interactive presentation allows customers to fly a virtual helicopter throughout a 3D-mapped area, visiting oil rigs and swerving through a deep water wind farm.
Connecting the virtual and the physical

There’s nothing more important than understanding the relationship between a digital twin and its physical counterpart. At Draga, we believe that knowing how the real-life system works helps us continuously improve modelling tools for our partners and clients.
Tee and our other visiting Thai team had the chance to visit the Norwegian Petroleum Museum to see in person the history of oil drilling machinery and some of the physical structures we model. Being able to see and interact with different equipment allows us to apply this knowledge to our modelling, and understand our clients even better.
Here at Draga, we believe that by being a people-forward company, we can deliver better, more innovative solutions for your company’s asset information management. We combine talents from around the world to provide the tools you need to make the most of your data, from technical data to 3D rendering. You can watch a short video of our 3D Render demo here.
